Can't find your answer? Write to us and we'll reply within minutes.
Ask on WhatsAppWhen is Easter in Morocco in 2027?
Easter 2027 runs from 28 March to 4 April. It's an excellent time to visit Morocco, with pleasant spring temperatures (20–25 °C).
Are there special Easter celebrations?
Although Morocco is mostly Muslim, tourist hotels organise special Easter celebrations with themed dinners, music and activities for Christian visitors.
What's the weather like in Morocco at Easter?
It's a perfect spring season. Temperatures of 20–25 °C in Marrakech and the desert. Sunny days, cool nights (10–15 °C in the desert). Ideal for sightseeing.
Is it a good time to visit the desert?
Yes, Easter is one of the best times for the desert. Pleasant daytime temperatures and cool but not cold nights. Perfect for camping and enjoying the stars.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking at least 1 month in advance. Easter is high season in Morocco and hotels and camps sell out quickly.
Can I customise the tour?
Yes, we can adapt the itinerary: add days, visit Chefchaouen or Essaouira, change the accommodation category, etc. Ask us about personalised options.
What does the Maundy Thursday dinner include?
A special dinner with an international and Moroccan menu: fish and meat options, salads and traditional desserts. A vegetarian or special-diet menu can be requested.
What time does the tour start and where do you pick us up?
We usually leave around 8:00 am. We pick you up at your hotel or riad in Marrakech; if you arrive by plane the same day, we can pick you up at the airport and adjust the departure time.
How many hours of driving are there each day?
Approximate driving times, not counting stops: day 2: 4 h 30 min; day 3: 7 h; day 5: 4 h 30 min; day 6: 6 h 30 min. We stop whenever you need for photos, a rest or a meal.
Where do we sleep each night?
night 1: Riad or hotel in Marrakech; night 2: Hotel or riad in Ouarzazate; night 3: Camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes (standard, superior or luxury tent); night 4: Camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes (standard, superior or luxury tent); night 5: Hotel or kasbah in the Dades Gorge. You can choose standard, superior or luxury category.
Where does the tour end?
The tour ends in Marrakech, at your hotel, riad or the airport. If you'd rather finish in another city, we adapt the route.
How do I book?
Write to us on WhatsApp (+212 673 85 10 91) or by email (nomad.berber@gmail.com) with your dates, the number of people and the type of accommodation. We'll send you the proposal with the final price and, when you confirm, explain how to pay.
Does the price depend on the number of people?
Yes. The “from” price is per person and varies with group size, season and accommodation category. The larger the group, the cheaper it is per person.
What should I bring for the night in the desert?
A small backpack with what you need for one night: warm clothes (it gets cool at night, especially from November to March), a torch or charged phone, a power bank, sunglasses, sunscreen, a scarf for the sand and comfortable shoes. Your big luggage stays at the guesthouse or in the vehicle.
Does the camp have a bathroom?
The superior and luxury camps have tents with a private bathroom and shower. At the standard camp the bathrooms are shared. Tell us which you prefer when booking.
Is this tour suitable for children and older people?
Yes. As it's a private tour, we adapt the pace, the stops and the length of the camel ride. We can also replace the camel with a 4x4 if you prefer.
